Liberation Wars in Holguin

From the beginning of the Spanish domain in the island of Cuba the area that today forms the territory of Holguin was inhabited by the Spaniards, owing its name to the last name of one of the men of Diego Velázquez: Francisco Garcia Holguin, fact that motivated the emergence of stage of The War In Holguin for the liberation of the Island of Cuba.
